Security Deposit Policy and Post-Refund Liability

A refundable deposit is required for all vehicle rentals. This deposit will be returned, provided there is no damage to the vehicle, no fines or summons incurred during the rental period. However, in the event that a summons is issued after the deposit has been refunded, the customer will remain liable for payment of the summons, and we reserve the right to claim such amounts at a later date.

The customer is required to make payment for any extended rental periods before the expiration of the original rental term. The company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately if the customer fails to make such payment by the due time and date.

Smoking inside the rented vehicle is strictly prohibited. If evidence of smoking is detected, a penalty of RM350 will be charged to the customer.

The cost of routine vehicle maintenance shall be borne entirely by the company. Mileage checks will be conducted monthly. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify the company when maintenance is due, so that the vehicle can be serviced accordingly.

The customer must hold a valid and unexpired driving license at all times while operating the rented vehicle. The company assumes no liability for any consequences arising from the customer’s failure to meet this requirement.

The company is not liable for injuries or other harm that might befall any passengers and will not be held responsible in the event of an incident.

Without a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) package, the customer is financially responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle, including scratches and dents. If the customer purchases a CDW, their liability for the damage to the rental car is significantly reduced or waived, often limited to a specific excess amount depending on the terms. Customers may opt to purchase the CDW package, which provides the following benefits:
a.10% from rental price and if major accident occurs
i) RM1000 penalty for (Perodua/Proton) and processing fee of RM350.
ii) RM2000 penalty for (Toyota/Mitsubishi/Honda/Hyundai/Nissan) and processing fee of RM350.
b. 30% from rental price and if major accident occurs, ZERO PENALTY applied, except for summons (if any), and processing fee of RM350.

If the customer chooses to not subscribe CDW during the bookings and accident occurs, the following will be charged:
a. In case of minor accident (such as dent/scratch), customer will bear all the repair cost.
b. In case of major accident, following penalty is applied:
i) Deductible at RM2000 (Perodua & Proton)
ii) Deductible at RM4000 (Toyota/Honda/Mitsubishi/Hyundai/Nissan)

All vehicles are insured under third-party insurance coverage.
